musical career 1979 to 1986

From 1979 Maura Erskine decided to change her musical direction from classical and opera to cabaret with a Tudor theme at a very popular tourist attractions known as ‘The Shakespeare at Blackfriars’ and ‘The Beefeaters Theatrical’. Maura Erskine acted and sang as the character Elizabeth the First to packed house of adoring tourists.     

Maura Erskine toured Canada from Vancouver to Halifax for Air Canada and the British Tourist Board to promote London entertainment.   

In 1996 Maura Erskine was invited to sing ‘God Bless America’ that was televised across the whole continent to mark the tenth anniversary of the Challenger disaster.
